I read on a Web Forum that "Divorce lawyers in England feed on a diet of champagne and lobsters and can even afford mistresses". Admittedly, it was the Sun Online forum!

I feel I need to rapidly confirm that I do not "enjoy" any of those things!

But I think I get the point. How can we keep the divorce costs as low as sensibly possible? These are some top tips:
