This diary was kept by a client of Woolley & Co,
family law solicitors as she went through the process of separating from her husband and thinking about divorce.
Although the names have been changed to protect privacy the concerns, emotions and experiences are all very real.
Our diarist is a 39 year old health care worker living in the Midlands. She's been married for nearly 20 years and has two children. She says her marriage started to break down due to financial reasons initially, then she and her husband 'just stopped talking' and so grew further and further apart.
The diary has been published to help demonstrate to others going through divorce that they are not alone. People are encouraged to add they own comments and experiences, to use the Diary to share their own concerns and offer advice to our diarist.
