As a Divorce and Family Law Specialist, you will manage your own caseload of complex family and matrimonial law matters. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional seeking flexibility, autonomy, and an opportunity to excel in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Provide clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients while maintaining excellent client care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law to deliver innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Utilise our cloud-based practice management system to work efficiently and meet client expectations.
  • Support the firm’s business development efforts through networking and building relationships, though a substantial proportion of your caseload will be generated by our dedicated marketing team and lead-handling administrators.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least five years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a solicitor or legal executive specialising in family law.
  • Proven expertise in handling a broad range of privately funded family law cases.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Exceptional technical ability and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in managing your own caseload independently.
  • A proactive approach to business development is helpful but not essential, as most leads are generated by the firm.
  • Tech-savvy and competent with Outlook, Word, and practice management systems.
