National Family Law Firm Woolley & Co Expands in East Anglia

Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 10:10 am

Family law specialist Woolley & Co, Solicitors has boosted its team in the region to better serve clients across East Anglia.

Karen Willis has joined the team, working from an office in Kings Lynn, having moved from a firm in Hunstanton.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in practising family law, with a particular focus on financial and high-net-worth cases. Having trained in London she has made a name for herself in the local area, working for several well-known firms before deciding to join national firm Woolley & Co.

She said: “Having spent time out in Hong Kong after graduating, teaching English as a foreign language, I returned to the UK to complete my legal training in London. I like dealing with people and that is what attracted me to family law.

“I fully appreciate that, for most people, going through a divorce is a new experience and therefore, it is extremely important that I’m available to answer any questions, however trivial they may seem, as and when is required. The flexible model offered by Woolley & Co, where I decide my own hours and clients have direct email and telephone access, rather than the constraints of a traditional firm, mean I can offer the best possible service with my legal advice.”

Karen joins an extremely strong team in the region, with four partners: Tamara Glanvill, Abby Smith Nick Wiseman and Karen Agnew-Griffith already working to help local families.

Legal 500 – the leading industry guide to finding top legal practitioners in the UK – praised the Woolley & Co team in East Anglia for ‘outstanding service and timely, appropriate, knowledgeable and supportive advice’ and notes they are ‘engaging and self-motivating individuals with a lot of experience’. Clients include expats, high-net-worth individuals, farming families, business owners and company directors, with the lawyers handling often complex cases involving leave to remove, difficult child arrangements cases, cross-border divorce, and multimillion-pound financial disputes.

Andrew Woolley, Woolley & Co Senior Partner, said: “Karen is a fantastic addition to an experienced and well-respected team. Her experience in dealing with family cases will further enhance our ability to help separating couples and families across the East Anglia region.”
