Vacancies for Family Solicitors and Legal Executives

Our hugely successful divorce and family team work exclusively on privately funded cases and act for regional, national and international divorce clients.

We are always interested in talking to senior family solicitors or legal executives/FILEX with at least 5 years experience who wish to join an innovative firm specialising in divorce and family work.

Based anywhere in England, you MUST be experienced in business development and be able to generate your own caseload through existing contacts and most importantly from referrals from clients. Your client service must be excellent.

You must have excellent technical ability and experience of handling a broad range of family and matrimonial law. Possessing strong client development and networking skills, you will be a confident, self-motivated lawyer with excellent IT skills. You will enjoy being part of an integrated team but you will thrive in an autonomous, highly flexible working environment.

An integrated practice management system with full work-flows allows our lawyers to work from a home office base. This unique way of working combined with remuneration which rewards lawyers directly for the work they do allows lawyers the opportunity of significant earnings potential.

Lawyers are supported with training, coaching and hands on advice. The effectiveness of this approach was recognised nationally during 2007 when we achieved Investor in People recognition and had our systems and procedures accredited by LEXCEL.

This flexible approach and independence experienced by our lawyers is valued by the kind of motivated and committed individuals that we attract.

What our lawyers say about working for Woolley & Co

“I ran my own small firm before joining Woolley & Co but this way I get the freedom to operate and develop an interesting and challenging case load without the pressure of running the business and compliance side of things. I would recommend this way of working to any experienced solicitor who likes a degree of autonomy whilst also getting the support and backing of a professional firm behind them.”

Lisa Macdonald, Solicitor, Wiltshire

“One year ago I was desperately unhappy trying to juggle my work responsibilities with my responsibilities for my son. Now, I don’t have that sinking feeling every Sunday night, I don’t feel guilty that I have to pick my son up from nursery or if he gets sick and I no longer have to become involved in work politics. I really do appreciate the opportunity Woolley & Co has given me to work in this flexible way.”

Alison Hill, Legal Executive, West Midlands

“I can’t believe that I’ve more than doubled my earnings since joining Woolley & Co. Being rewarded for my hard work really is a great motivator. Couple that with the flexibility of working from home and this could just be the ideal job!”

Davina Warrington, Solicitor, East Midlands

“For the first time in all my years as a lawyer I can see the just rewards for all my effort. I get out as much as I put in and am rewarded properly for the work I do. There’s no hierarchy. At Woolley & Co, we are a team and we all work together and have an equal voice. It was the best career decision I ever made.”

Karen Agnew-Griffith, Legal Executive, Norfolk
