"I am so sorry to see the upset that has occurred in what should, of course, be a happy event. Your son can ensure via the local Register Office that he is named as father on the birth certificate. Then he will have equal parental rights with the mother. If she doesn’t really want the baby, maybe it should live with him? A Court would consider that but I wonder if the mother would agree to a joint visit to a mediator meanwhile? Better than a Court case and normally a lot less expensive!"

"my son is going to be a dad in feb,he wants this baby so much.his ex could care .in some matters like this i think men should have equal rights to there child if they want it.why is it the woman get all the rights and the dads dont seem to have any.its very unfair."

"“On 26th November 2010 a man who had read this page of our website left us a note which showed he was very upset indeed with the Courts and Government about loss of contact with his children and is clearly suffering. Was that you? If so, please contact us as we may be able to refer you towards a helpful source.”"

"I was working on a class assignment. The overview of the facts are simple and very helpful. Anyone who needs to be oriented and directed with a case for paternal issues should start and end their research here. "
