Kimberley is a divorce and family law solicitor with Woolley & Co, based in Bristol. She deals with all areas of family law, including divorce, separation, financial settlements and cases involving children. She advises couples who are married, cohabiting or in civil partnerships. Having spent 6 years in the Midlands developing her career in family law she returned to her home city of Bristol, where she trained as a solicitor.
Kimberley provides a holistic and sympathetic approach to reaching solutions that focus on the client’s needs, as well as the needs of any children involved.
“I feel very strongly that my role is to deliver a first class service to clients, advising about various aspects of family law from complex financial matters arising at the breakdown of a relationship to issues involving children or domestic abuse. I pride myself on considering the impact to the client and family members of all aspects of the advice given. I have assisted clients from all walks of life including parents, grandparents and step parents, individuals with significant assets, business people, civil servants, expats and home-makers and strive to provide a flexible and thorough service with clear straightforward advice to all.
Whilst working as a family solicitor in Stafford I worked with the Stafford Women’s Aid which provided a real insight into the emotional needs of clients. Taking an empathetic approach my aim is to provide solutions for the person and not just the legal problem, particularly where there are children involved.
As a member of Resolution I am committed to a non-confrontational approach to achieve an effective outcome for my clients. I am also a Notary Public.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy time with my children, reading almost anything, watching films and practising tai-chi and rei-ki.”
Kimberley qualified as a solicitor in April 2003 and joined Woolley & Co from a firm in Bristol in July 2012.
