Liz Davies is a divorce and family lawyer with Woolley & Co, based near Ludlow in Shropshire and serves clients in the local area as well as nationally and internationally. She specialises in divorce, relationship breakdown, financial issues, and cases involving children. She has been to the Royal Courts of Justice in London on a number of occasions regarding complex children issues.
“Having spent the early part of my career in the Black Country, I joined a Worcestershire-based firm where I began specialising in family law as far back as 1989. I remained there for over 20 years and was an Associate of the firm before joining Woolley & Co in August 2010.
I like to create a good rapport with my clients and am described as “straight to the point” with my Black Country manner! I do pride myself on always being accessible to clients to help with any worries they may have, and ensure that I give them clear, comprehensive advice.
As a member of Resolution I fully believe in negotiation to try and resolve family matters in a conciliatory and non-adversarial way. I’m also a member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme run by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
In my spare time I love to watch local and international rugby, and am a season ticket holder for Worcester Warriors. My two boys keep me very busy and I take an active role in their school community, being a parent governor. I also enjoy reading, walking the dogs and looking after our eleven chickens.”
